The return of Bike Prom to Fort Collins brought together an eclectic crowd of bike loving folks in the name of bikes, bikes, more bikes with a dance party on top. Together, Foco Bike Mob and Bike Fort Collins partnered to deliver a loud and proud Bike Prom 2022 with the Lyric Cinema as the quintessential location. Following a late afternoon pre-party at Stodgy Brewing on July 25th, a large prom peloton rode in parade fashion to the Lyric Cinema where things got started at 8:00 p.m. with vibes from mix master, DJ Madame Calypso. Headliner, Gora Gora Orkestar, brought the brass like never before while the bike prom court danced the night away under mild precipitation. To round things out, DJ Specific Heat kept the stoke high well into the night despite continued rain.
Other festivities of the evening included a “Best Dressed” crowning by Mayor Arndt, a photo booth, silent auction, and the drawing of the Spring Into Summer Raffle winner of a new e-Bike from Pedego Electric bikes.
