“That apple on the tree that’s just out of reach — you know, that event you’ve been eyeing for years — let us springboard you out of your comfort zone and straight to it. Get sideways into a turn.”
Zack and Whitney Allison, Fort Collins’s own gravel racing power couple, and founders of the FoCo Fondo are looking forward to bringing the event back in 2021 and this time with an impressive prize purse! The FoCo Fondo offers something for everyone. Whether it’s the 107-mile Bite-the-Bullet open category to the 12-mile family friendly ride, you’re sure to find your gravel calling.
And, Bike Fort Collins couldn’t be more appreciative of the FoCo Fondo, as Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is a primary beneficiary of the event. The event helps fund various SRTS programs, including things like after school bike camps.
As we all welcome warmer spring days ahead, Zack and Whitney are offering a variety of training opportunities to help you prepare both mind and body for gravel grinding bliss at this year’s FoCo Fondo:
