Alpine Bank officially opened their first Northern Colorado branch on December 3rd, hosting and helping kick-off the Holiday Season with “Holiday Fest.” Alpine Bank Presents: Holiday Fest featured complimentary, family-friendly holiday activities such as: pictures with Santa, cookie-tasting, mistletoe-making, and prize drawings for tickets to CSU Rams, Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos games, and even a pair of Icelandic skis. Plus, hot chocolate and snacks were served from local foodtruck, Backyard Bird Chicken + Donuts. Kids also had the opportunity to send letters and Christmas wish lists to The North Pole via a special mailbox.
Being new to town, Alpine Bank is excited to embrace Fort Collins’ culture, as it’s well aligned with theirs. “Community investment and environmental sustainability are both foundational to our business philosophy,” says Alpine Bank Fort Collins Market President, Ben Van Hoose. “Supporting the nonprofits and organizations that make our community strong is part of the Alpine Bank DNA.” Similarly, the City’s commitment to sustainability and the prevalence of bicycling and the bicycle friendliness of within the community are two identifying aspects of Fort Collins’ culture –whether it be the low stress network of bike lanes, bikeways, and bike trails, or the numerous programs in place to ensure the advancement of bicycling within the city, like those that BFC is involved with including Safe Routes to School, and our bicycle equity-based initiatives through our Active Living program(s). Given this alignment, Alpine Bank selected Bike Fort Collins to be a beneficiary of the Grand Opening Holiday Fest, and we were honored and grateful to accept a $2,500 donation to support our programs.
