LEGAL OR NOT QUIZ
DO YOU KNOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD?
There are some tricky rules of the road, so we’ve created a quiz around bike laws, bike etiquette and different scenarios in which you get to decide if the bicyclist, and in some cases, the motorist, is legal or not.

Legal! Cyclists are legally allowed to ride two abreast when they are not impeding the normal flow of traffic. Cyclists – legal, Motorist – illegal The cyclists are legal because they are riding as far to the right as they feel safely possible (notice the gravel and debris on the shoulder). The motorist is not legal because motorists are required to give cyclists three feet when passing. Legal! Riding two abreast in a lane with “sharrows” is legal. Legal! Taking the lane through a roundabout is legal, and the safest. The other legal way to go through a roundabout is to get on the sidewalk and cross as a pedestrian. Legal! The cars are legal and allowed to cross over the double yellow line when passing cyclists. Cyclists are also legal because they are riding single file. Illegal! It is not legal to ride against traffic. Riding the wrong way is the leading cause of bike-car crashes.#1. Question 1: Legal or Not?
