The 37th annual Summer Bike to Work Day once again brought Fort Collins to life with pedal-powered energy and community spirit. Thousands of residents embraced the joy of active transportation—whether by bike, foot, or scooter—showing just how deeply our city is committed to a healthier, more sustainable way of getting around.

This year’s celebration featured nearly 90 morning stations and 12 afternoon stations, all made possible by the support of over 150 local businesses and organizations. From breakfast burritos to bike tune-ups, the day was packed with fun, fuel, and encouragement for commuters of all kinds.

Bike Fort Collins was proud to return to Oak Street Plaza, where we hosted a lively and welcoming station alongside an incredible lineup of partners. A huge thank you to:

  • City of Fort Collins Utilities
  • CDOT – Division of Transportation Development
  • City of Fort Collins Environmental Services, Parking Services, and Utilities – Solar
  • Hadfield Stieben Doutt
  • Health District of Northern Larimer County
  • Horner Painting
  • The Cupboard
  • The Rio
  • And our bike mechanic extraordinaire,Alex Havorka

Their generosity, time, and effort made for a memorable morning full of connection and community.

The celebrations didn’t stop there! That evening, the 17th annual Bike from Work Bash at Odell Brewing Co. kept the momentum rolling. Riders enjoyed a free beer and wine, soaked up the summer vibes, and browsed fun giveaways from Fort Collins Connexion and Bike Fort Collins. Live music from March to August set the tone as the crowd gathered for the much-anticipated door prize drawing.

The highlight? A brand-new Pure Cycle single-speed bike, generously donated by Recycled Cycles—plus a bounty of other great prizes from Topo Designs, InCycle, Trek Bicycle Fort Collins, and Odell Brewing.

We’re incredibly grateful to Odell Brewing for hosting this beloved tradition and to all of our volunteers, whose energy and dedication power every pedal stroke of the day. These events simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

We can’t wait to see you all again for Winter Bike to Work Day 2026! Until then, keep riding, keep smiling, and keep showing the world what makes Fort Collins a national leader in active transportation and bike culture.
