Bike Fort Collins has partnered with Spin Bike to help promote and highlight both the Spin Adaptive and Spin Access programs here in town. Spin Access provides reduced bikeshare rates for low income members of the community. In keeping with our unique bike library history, the Spin Adaptive program here in Fort Collins is the only one of its kind and provides FREE access to a fleet of adaptive bikes for various types of physical challenges. Bikes in the Spin Adaptive fleet include adult trikes, recumbents (soon to arrive) and a hand cycle.
Bike Fort Collins brings education and awareness of these programs to various locations and events throughout town. To date we have held educational and awareness campaigns in places such as the Fort Collin Senior Center and Homeward Alliance. These events give us an opportunity to engage directly with the community in order to improve the reach of Spin services here in town. Learning and engaging with a variety of folks helps us learn and understand how we can grow and adapt to micro mobility needs. As the spring arrives and brings warmer days, we look forward to offering more opportunities for test rides of the entire Spin fleet.
